What is IELTS Rescheduling And Cancellation Fee?

You can postpone or cancel your IELTS registration test date 2021 if you can no longer wish to take the test on the scheduled date.

The IELTS testing bodies understand that certain unforseen circumstances can lead to a change of plans on your IELTS test. 

Hence, they make it possible for you to request a change of date or cancel the test altogether.

  1. You can only reschedule or cancel your test 5 weeks prior to the test date.

  2. Your reason for cancellation can only be due to serious illness or injuries. You can also request a cancellation over the loss of an immediate family member.

  4. To cancel or reschedule, you'll be required to complete a "Request for Refund" or "Test date transfer form" and attach the appropriate evidence. You must do this via post, in person or email, MOD idp does not accept phone calls for cancellation or postponement.

  5. You will not be refunded if you fail to request for cancellation and do not show up for the test or cancel your test less than five weeks before the test.

  6. A refund fee of 25% administration fee will be deducted if you decide to cancel your test.

Note that refunds take up to 4 to 6 weeks to process so it is advised you patiently wait to be reimbursed.
