Walsh Scholarships Programme – This Masters Programme is geared specifically to build the competencies for careers in agricultural advisory and education services whether in the public or private sector. Applications are invited from graduates with a minimum 2.2.Honours BAgrSc (or equivalent) degree.
Applications from graduates with pass level degrees coupled with significant and appropriate work experience in the sector will also be considered.
There are two programme options available to candidates:
Masters (MAgrSc) in Agricultural Innovation Support
Masters (MAgrSc) in Agricultural Extension

The Walsh Scholarship programmes are designed to build the competencies required for careers in agricultural advisory and education services in the public or private sector. Many former Walsh Scholars are currently employed in advisory and education roles in Teagasc and many others are in key positions in public services and agri-food companies in Ireland and abroad.
