The External Academic Relations office is pleased to announce the funded DAAD EPOS (Development-Related Postgraduate Courses) scholarships at Freie Universität Berlin in Germany. DAAD DAAD EPOS Scholarship Benefits
The scholarship covers:
- Full tuition fees
- Monthly stipend (€992 for Master’s, €1,300 for PhD)
- Health, accident, and liability insurance
- Travel allowance
- Optional support for rent and accompanying family members (where applicable)

Requirements for DAAD DAAD EPOS Scholarship
- Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree (usually four years) in a relevant subject.
- A minimum of two years of professional experience is required.
- Applicants must show clear motivation to contribute to development goals in their home countries after completing the program.
Selection Process
Selection criteria:
- Strong academic performance (typically in the top third of class)
- Relevant professional experience
- Development-related motivation and potential for social impact
- Language proficiency (English or German depending on the program; most are in English)
