The McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill are Canada’s first leadership-driven scholarship for master’s and professional degree students. They represent an investment in students who are developing expertise in their respective fields, have a track record of taking initiative, and seek to collaborate with others to understand and address important problems and challenges.
The McCall MacBain Scholarships will create a global community of innovators, creative leaders, academics, entrepreneurs and others with a lifelong commitment to working with others to make real change.
In the third year (2023), the McCall MacBain Scholars cohort will grow to include international students. The number of scholarships will increase from 20 to 30 per year, with international students expected to make up one-third of each incoming cohort.
McCall MacBain Scholars will pursue their graduate studies at one of the most international universities in the world. McGill faculty members hail from over 70 countries and drive research that has global impact. More than a quarter of McGill students are from outside of Canada, representing almost 150 different countries.
