Masters Scholarship by Government of Mauritius

As part of its commitment to promote capacity-building at high level across the continent, the Government of Mauritius is awarding scholarships to deserving students who are resident citizens of member states of the African Union or of African Commonwealth countries as per the following criteria below

Requirements for Government of Mauritius Masters Scholarship
Applicants should have successfully completed an undergraduate degree with:
- At least an upper second class from a recognized higher education institution; OR
- A GPA / CPA greater than 60% from a recognized higher education institution; OR
- Alternative qualifications acceptable to the Ministry.
Scholarships will NOT be awarded for:
- Applicants already holding a Masters’ degree;
- Part-time courses;
- Distance Education programmes; or
- Mixed/blended modes (distance and on-campus learning)
Note:
- Candidates should submit their detailed study plan of about 750 words along with their application
- Candidates already holding a Masters’ degree or its equivalent will not be considered.
- Course requirements and information on the specific Masters’ Programmes are available on the website of the Higher Education Institutions
