Griffith International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships in Australia, 2019

Griffith University is offering excellence scholarships to undergraduate students who are not citizens of  Australia or New Zealand to pursue an undergraduate program at the university.

The aim of the Griffith International Undergraduate Excellence grants is to enable and encourage academically able holders from any nationality.

The students should havea minimum GPA in high school studies and would have already applied to the  Griffith University and completed all the academic requirements for undergraduate studies.

Benefits of Griffith University Undergraduate Scholarship

Each intake, Griffith International will award scholarships to the students with the highest academic entry scores commencing in an eligible degree program.

The scholarship covers 25% of tuition fees that will be deducted from undergraduate tuition fees for the duration of the program. Each deduction will be applied by the Griffith University census date of each relevant trimester of the program

Requirements for Griffith University Undergraduate Scholarship

  1. Have a minimum GPA in high school studies.
  2. Have applied to Griffith University and satisfy all appropriate entry requirements for the proposed degree program, including results of previous study and English language proficiency as per Griffith University’s undergraduate entry requirements.
  3. Be commencing candidates.
  4. Be enrolling as a full-time applicant in an undergraduate degree at Griffith University.
  5. Citizens of a country other than Australia or New Zealand can apply for these educations.

Selection Process

2019 commencement

  1. Trimester 3 2019 – Applications close Friday, 6 September 2019 (for 28 October commencement). Outcome notified by 20 September.

2020 commencement

  1. Trimester 1 2020 – Applications close Friday, 29 November 2019 (for 24 February commencement). Outcome notified by 13 December.
  2. Trimester 2 2020 – Applications close Friday, 15 May 2020 (for 6 July commencement). Outcome notified by 29 May.
  3. Trimester 3 2020 – Applications close Friday, 4 September 2020 (for 26 October commencement). Outcome notified by 18 September

Scholarship applicants will be advised in writing of the outcome of the scholarship and will be given a date by which to accept the scholarship.

Scholarship offers not accepted by the specified date will be withdrawn. Please note that students need to accept both their program offer and scholarship offer to secure a scholarship place.

  1. A completed scholarship application form by the published closing dates.
  2. A certified/attested true copy of academic transcripts and supporting documentation demonstrating strong academic merit.

  1. Applications should be submitted Application Form via post or email.
  2. Supporting Documents: To apply, students must be ready to submit the certified/attested true copy of academic transcripts and supporting documentation demonstrating strong academic merit.
  3. Admission Requirements: To apply for the program applicants must have a minimum GPA in high school studies.
  4. Language Requirement: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
