The development Research and Projects Centre (dRPC) is a mission driven Nigerian non-profit organisation formed 1993 by 10 academics and development practitioners from Nigerian Universities. The Centre's mission is to tackle development and humanitarian challenges, as they emerge, by equipping local civil society groups (CSGs) with the resources, skills and competences, enabling them to be pivotal actors in the design and application of high impact local solutions. Since 1993 the dRPC remains Nigeria's only local civil society organisation dedicated to mobilising millions of naira and training thousands of local groups to drive local solutions in order to accelerate sustainable and inclusive change projects which empower women, girls and all vulnerable groups.
