The Abdullahi Tanko Umaru Memorial Scholarship Fund is a tribute to the memory of Mallam Abdullahi Tanko Umaru. Mallam Tanko was born on March 21, 1975. He passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 46. He was a Lecturer at the Department of Political Science and International Studies at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria at the time of his tragic death.
