The University of West London is awarding the Alastair Storey Scholarship to undergraduate or postgraduate students who wish to study at the university.

The Scholarship is supported by Alastair Storey OBE, and is open to  outstanding full time Home/EU or International students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Hospitality or Culinary Arts at the London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism.

The student must be registered to any of the eligible scholarship courses to study in 2019/ 2020 academic session.

Requirements for University of West London Undergraduate Scholarship

If applying to this award, you must accept the following conditions: ?

1. You must be registered on a course in Hospitality or Culinary Arts during the 2019/2020 academic year. ?
2. You must maintain good academic standing and attendance record throughout your course. ?
3. You must attend the Donors and Scholars Reception or any other event that the Office of Development and Alumni Relations see fit. ?
4. You must write a short thank you letter to the donor responsible for funding this award

Selection Process

Applicants are evaluated on the following criteria: 

1. Academic achievement
2. Financial need
3. Personal statements
4. Recommendations

Only successful applicants will be notified.  If you are successful, your academic information may be shared with the people responsible for funding this award to keep them updated of your progression. Signing this form confirms your consent to this.

1. Two letters of reference (i.e. from a tutor) ?
2. Evidence of your (or parent/guardian) total household income – one of the following: P60 for financial year ending April 2019; 3 months of payslips; Benefits letter; Student Finance England letter
