The 2020 Devpost-Facebook Hackathons is currently accepting entries from great innovators. They believe that when innovators come together with passion and purpose, amazing things can happen. Building on the momentum of the first hackathon in our series, we’re excited to welcome global developers to continue learning, building and growing in our next online challenge.
Leveraging the power of messaging, augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI), this time around, they invite you to create solutions that help build community and drive social impact.
Whether you bring to life an idea to connect friends and family using Messenger, an educational experience using Spark AR, or a natural language chatbot solution supporting businesses using Wit.ai, they’re excited to support you as you innovate for impact.
they’ll also be providing a free swag giveaway to each team member from an eligible submission, as well as some amazing cash prizes and Oculus virtual reality headsets for the winning teams.

What to build: Build Messenger experiences that leverage at least one of the following features: Handover Protocol, One-Time Notifications, Private Replies, and Quick Replies.
What to submit:
Demo video. Your video (hosted on Facebook Video, YouTube, Vimeo, or Youku) should be around 2 minutes, include a demo of your working application via a step-by-step visual demo, and be available in English. Be sure to explain how the Facebook products used enhances the experience of your solution!
Access. A way to access your chatbot in one of the following ways:
