The NYU (New York University) Center for Ballet And the Arts is an international research institute for scholars and artists of ballet and its related arts and sciences.
This year, this esteemed institute has opened up its doors, by inviting applications for the NYU Center for Ballet and the Arts Fellowship Program 2020-2021.
The CBA Fellowship program will award residencies to artists and scholars of various disciplines to work on projects that expand the way they think about the history, practice, and performance of dance.
To be selected for the residency, you don't necessarily have to be an expert in dance but you must have an interest in engaging with the art form, a PhD and be a scholar or artist pursuing an original project related to dance and/or its related arts and sciences.
During the scholarship, fellows will be provided space, financing, and time to pursue rigorous work by the fellowship, you will get to study alongside exceptional colleagues and will experience an engagement between artists and scholars that will, in turn, strengthen and deepen the work of both communities.
