Mkpouto Pius Foundation launch the WomanUp Scholarship Programme.The WomanUp Programme intends to raise a crop of excellent women who will excel in their academics and subsequent career, and move us significantly towards achieving gender equality.

Mkpouto Pius Foundation Scholarship Benefits

• Full university tuition fees paid directly to the University bank account per year for 4 years of university.
• Stipend of 100,000 Naira per semester.
• 50,000 Naira to cover the cost of departmental and faculty registration.
• Fees and stipend for the next year will only be paid upon providing evidence of top academic performance in the previous year.
• Monthly internet subscription for members of the cohort so that there are no limitations for them to study, do part-time remote work, or attend monthly coaching or check-in sessions.

Requirements for Mkpouto Pius Foundation Scholarship

• To be eligible, you must meet all of the following requirements.
• Applicant must be a Female Nigerian Student 
• Recently admitted to study in a Nigerian public university (only for females looking to start their first year of university)
• Academic excellence
• Demonstrate financial need
• Be willing to fill in monthly reports and attend monthly check-in sessions
• ?Be willing to attend mentoring events
• Ready to participate in career development opportunities like attending conferences, taking up fellowships, publishing papers, etc
