African App Launchpad Cup 2021 for African Game/App Developers

Competition for African Startups on App and Game Development is currently on and applications are now being invited from interested applicants.

The objective of this initiative is:

1. Building capacity and certifying young African calibers on the recent advances in app and game technologies.
2. Supporting creation of job and business opportunities for the African youth through wage employment, freelancing, and startup establishment.
3. Increasing the competitiveness of African ICT companies by availing an abundant talent pool.
4. Forming Africa-wide learning networks in leading technologies to act as platform for fostering technology innovation and entrepreneurship.

Requirements for AAL African Game/App Developers Competition

1. Eligible Africa Countries: You must be and reside in the countries listed above.
2. Apply as Teams or Startups up to 2 Years Old
3. Team Size not Less than 2 Members
4. A Working Prototype at least is a Must

Selection Process

The submitted applications as well as pitching will be judged on the 4 following areas

1. Innovation Originality/Creativity
2. Business Model
3. Art and/or Design of the Game/App
4. Team Competencies.
