A Gateway to Financial Support for Students of Akwa Ibom State Origin. The Akwa Ibom State Government is excited to announce the launch of the new improved Student Bursary and Support Grant Portal, a dedicated online platform designed to simplify the application process for students applying for the yearly bursary payment.

Akwa Ibom State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Pastor Umo Eno is committed to timely payment of intervention grants for students with disabilities. On this app, qualified students with disability who have registered with the Ministry of Education can now apply for the AKSG Intervention Grant for Students with Disabilities

Benefits of Akwa Ibom State Intervention Grant

For the disability grants, eligible undergraduate students will receive N250,000, while eligible postgraduate students will get N300,000.

Requirements for Akwa Ibom State Intervention Grant

For a successful application, you will need the following:

• You must have already registered with the Ministry of Education
• Valid Student Registration Number (This information would be securely shared with your university system for verification)
• Valid Student ID Card
• Valid Admission Letter
• Valid Certificate of Origin
• Valid School Fee Receipt (recommended to have receipts that can be independently validated, for example receipts with RRR number if paid with Remita)
• Valid Passport photo
• Valid NIN (This information would be securely shared with third-party system for verification)

For AKSG Grant, we would have a support centre at the Ministry of Education to assist students complete their application.
