 The YAVE initiative in Nigeria, is excited to launch a national Digital Contest aimed at empowering young creative minds to take a stand against violence and extremism through art.

Theme:

“Resilient Voices: Creativity as a Tool for Preventing Violent Extremism in Nigeria”

This contest invites youth to use digital and artistic expression to promote peace, resilience, social cohesion, and counter harmful narratives within their communities.

Participants are encouraged to submit original works in any of the following categories:

• Short Videos
• Skits
• Short Plays
• Poetry
• Short Stories
• Music
• Painting / Sketching

• N500,000.00 Each for 4 Winners
• Outstanding entries will be featured at a national Award Ceremony and Exhibition, and winners will gain recognition, prizes, and the opportunity to have their work featured in the PAVE Creative Repository, amplifying their voice in the movement against violent extremism.

How to Participate:

This competition seeks to harness the power of creativity to foster community resilience, social cohesion, and positive narratives.

Participants are invited to submit works across seven categories:

1. Each participants are expected to upload their content or work on Instagram & Facebook
2. Tag and mentions the PCVE-KIRH pages.
