The Excellence Programme is initiated by Wageningen University & Research to attract excellent students for a Master’s programme, and who might have the potential to do a PhD after their MSc graduation. In Wageningen or elsewhere

Excellence Programme (MSc/Non-EEA) Benefits

• A tuition fee waiver for the duration of the programme (24 months)
• A budget for one seminar in Europe (travel, stay, registration fee)

Requirements for Excellence Programme (MSc/Non-EEA)

1. You are citizen of a country outside the European Economic Area (and Switzerland)
2. You have applied for one of the MSc programmes at Wageningen University & Research before the given deadline. Please see: How can I apply for the master’s programme?
3. You are unconditionally admitted to this MSc programme
4. You have a high GPA of 80% or higher. A First Class honours BSc graduation or equivalent is required.

Selection Process

February 1, 2024: Deadline to apply for an MSc programme

April 16, 2024: Invitation of selected candidates to take part in the selection procedure (approx. 30 candidates will be selected)

April 26, 2024: Deadline for the assignment

May 13, 2024: Results of the selection procedure communicated
