University of West London PhD Scholarships For International Students 2020

The University of West London welcomes applications from students who wish to study for a PhD or a Professional Doctorate in January, May or September in the following scholarship courses:

  • Computing and Engineering
  • Expert Academy
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Human and Social Sciences
  • Law and Criminology
  • Media and Design
  • Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare

The research students at the University of West London will be members of both the Graduate School and the School in which they are being supervised.

The Graduate School, will support doctoral students and supervisors and run courses to support their development. There, they will also acquire important information about graduate school activities including admissions, doctoral training, statistics advice, events, and workshops.

Students with a good first degree (first or upper second class) in the field of health or social sciences or a Masters degree (MA, MSc, MBA or MRes) with merit or distinction are encouraged by the university to apply.

Requirements for University of West London PhD Scholarship

  1. A good first degree (first or upper second class) in the field of health or social sciences;
  2. A Masters degree (MA, MSc, MBA or MRes) with merit or distinction;
  3. An IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a score of 6.5;

 To apply, you need to submit the following documentation to [email protected] using the heading “PhD Scholarship in Health and Ageing”:

  1. international student application form (Word 66kb);
  2. research proposal in the region of 1000-1500 words;
  3. a sample of any publications;
  4. a personal statement which explains why you are interested in the scholarship
  5. transcript of your highest qualification;
  6. evidence of your IELTS score.
