University of Stuttgart Masters Scholarships in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design (IUSD) for Students in Developing Countries 2020-2021

Since 2011, the University of Stuttgart, Germany and Ain Shams University, Cairo has developed and established the IUSD  (Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design) program for masters students from developing countries.

Now, being the application period for DAAD EPOS Masters Scholarships in Integrated Urbanism and Sustainable Design, the IUSD program intake is inviting application from suitable qualified applicants to undergo a Masters program in the course at either of the Universities.

The scholarship is open to graduates and young professionals from the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, and regional planning. It is equally available to students who possess other Bachelor's degrees.

Benefits of IUSD Masters Scholarship

1. The DAAD offers a limited number of full scholarships for students from a wide range of countries (see DAC-List) studying in the Double Degree Program.
2. The scholarships are provided through the EPOS program and cover the entire duration of the course (including travel costs to both countries). EPOS scholarships are only available for the Double Degree Program, studying the first year in Stuttgart, and second year Cairo.

Requirements for IUSD Masters Scholarship

1. It is open to graduates and young professionals from the fields of architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture and regional planning as well as to graduates with other Bachelor degrees and with relevant professional experience. 
2. Applying for the EPOS scholarship requires at least two years of program related professional working experience.

Selection Process

The Admission Commission will give applicants with work expertise or equivalent internship experience preferential treatment. We would welcome applicants from many different backgrounds and countries.
