The Kroc Institute administers the International Peace Studies (IPS) concentration of the Master of Global Affairs (MGA), a program of the Keough School of Global Affairs.

The MGA program integrates rigorous coursework; close engagement with policymakers and practitioners; multi-disciplinary faculty and students from around the world; and extended field work with global and local partner organizations. MGA students can also pursue concentrations in Sustainable Development and Global Affairs + Specialization.

Requirements for University of Notre Dame Masters Scholarship

1. The Keough School is committed to recruiting, admitting, and enrolling graduate students from varying backgrounds, identities, and professional career trajectories. We expect you to be candid and transparent about your professional experiences during the application process so that others may recognize the value you bring to the program.
2. All applicants to the MGA program are required to submit GRE scores with their applications with the exception of applicants to the International Peace Studies concentration from outside the U.S

A completed application for the Master of Global Affairs includes the following:

1. University of Notre Dame Graduate School Application
2. Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
3. Statement of Intent
4. Short essay (300 words) for chosen concentration
5. 3 letters of recommendation
6. Transcripts with proof of B.A. or equivalent degree (and English translation if necessary)
7. TOEFL or IELTS (for non-native speakers of English)
8. Application Fee of $75.
