The University of British Columbia is pleased to announce that applications are now open for its International Major Entrance Scholarship (IMES) to be awarded to undergraduate students who will be enrolling for an undergraduate program at the University (UBC).
The IMES scholarship will be awarded to the students when they enter their first year at the University of British Columbia and can be renewed for up to three additional years of study depending on the student's performance.
Note, to be eligible for this award, the applicant has to be a 1st year fresher, enrolling directly from secondary school or post-secondary to the UBC and mustn't already be a student there. They also have to be an international student who will be studying at UBC on a Canadian study permit.Table of Content

To be considered for the IMES, you must:
You will be considered for this scholarship shortly after you receive an offer of admission to UBC. Scholarship decisions are made between mid-March to the end of April each year.
To apply to UBC, you must create a Campus-Wide Login (CWL). You’ll need your CWL username and password to check the status of your application and access all of the University’s online systems throughout your time at UBC. Click here to create
