Tullow International Funding At University of Ghana 2019-2020

The University of Ghana, Ghana is sponsoring the Tullow International Funding for excellent students from countries outside Ghana who want to obtain a scholarship opportunity to study a degree program at the Institution. 

The UG-Tullow award is a full scholarship which also covers accommodation for students pursuing 4 years undergraduate programmes and 1 year master’s programmes (but in exceptional circumstances may also include 2 years M.Phil programmes).

Requirements for University of Ghana Bachelors degree

1. Be able to demonstrate financial need.
2. Have to obtain a WASSC aggregate of 19 or better  a continuing student with a CGPA of 3.0 and above.
3. Must be of good conduct, be in good academic standing and enrolled at University of Ghana in a full-time regular undergraduate or postgraduate program reading any of the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) programs listed.
4. Have to provide evidence of English language proficiency

Requirements for University of Ghana Masters Scholarship

1. A good first degree (at least a second class lower division) in a relevant field of study at the University of Ghana or any recognized University. A minimum of two to three years working experience is required from all applicants desiring to pursue programmes at the University of Ghana Business School.For more details in respect of Admission requirements, applicants are advised to contact the various Departments/Schools/Institutes/Centres for additional information on the various programmes. 
2. For purposes of assessing an applicant’s eligibility, he/she may be required to take an entrance examination and/or interview at the Department/Institute/School/Centre. 
3. For programmes marked with asterisks (*), all applicants are admitted into the MA/MSc programme at the first instance. Students who obtain an average of B+ or better MAY progress to the MPhil programme upon recommendation by the Head of Department in consultation with the Graduate Studies Committee of his/her Department.
