Benefits of Oracle Nigeria Legal Internship Program

  1. Assisting the Managing Counsel and the Legal Department in all aspects of work required from the Legal Organization. This will include, but not be limited to, assisting in:
  2. Organizing and maintaining records, meeting minutes and legal archive
  3. Organizing and maintaining Corporate household
  4. Reading, researching, reviewing, verifying, and routing correspondence, reports and legal documents
  5. Drafting letters and documents as required
  6. Taking ownership on issues as assigned by the Managing Counsel
  7. Continuous interface with other functions in the company
  8. Liaison with Business Practices, Compliance & Ethics and Deal Management organizations
  9. Provide updates to other departments as necessary
  10. Implementing legal policies and business practices
  11. Co-ordination of legal services within relevant groups and functions
  12. Localizing agreements
  13. Attending internal and external meetings
  14. Perform all other tasks that are appropriate for and required by an in-house Legal Department

Requirements for Oracle Nigeria Legal Internship Program

  • High-level ability to articulate and draft in English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Creative thinking

  • Develop understanding of Oracle´s products and services 
  • Develop understanding of Oracle’s business requirements and policies

Minimum job requirements – not negotiable:

  1. L.L.B. & B.L. – Bachelor of Laws
  2. Certificate of Call to the Nigerian Bar
  3. National Youth Service Completion Certificate 
  4. Minimum 1 year post call to the Nigerian bar experience
  5. Basic computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Selection Process

 This job code is utilized for the majority of our temporary hires. The individual is performing hourly job duties as defined under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
