NITDA 2021 Free Digital Literacy Workshop For Nigerians (Batch A)

Applications are now open for the free basic digital literacy workshop, funded by the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Microsoft and supported by the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.

The Digital States Program ensures that Nigerian youths are equipped with digital and life skills that can reduce the digital divide and foster economic growth by exposing them to digital tools and innovation that can redefine the future of their chosen career.

This training will cover residents in Gombe, Kano, Lagos and Rivers states only and implemented by Wootlab Innovations.

Requirements for NIDTA Digital Training

Digital Skills Class Selection

Kindly select your preferred class based on your existing knowledge of digital skills, access to required work tools and your expectation from the training. Below is the description of training content to help you choose effectively.

  1. IT Management of Productivity Tools - "Productivity tools" refers to the software that people use to create and produce documents, databases, charts, and graphs. For many organizations and corporations, this skill set is a necessity. Skills taught include; Microsoft 365 tools, communicate online. (Recommended for students, employees in the workforce, beginners in the use of digital tools)
  2. Understanding Digital Marketing for Entrepreneurial skills - Skills taught include how to build your business, creating and exploring the market etc. (Recommended for business owners and entrepreneurs)
  3. Basics of Content Creation and career development - Skills taught include CV writing skills, interview preparation, how to find your dream job etc. (Recommended for students and jobseekers)

You have a choice to select up to two classes. However, each student will be placed in one class. Each class has a limit capacity, therefore students will be placed on a first-come, first-serve basis.
