Call for Entries: Essay Competition on “Antimicrobial Resistance and My Future: Why Should Young People Care?”
Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) happens when germs like bacteria and viruses stop responding to the medicines meant to kill them. This makes common infections harder to treat and everyday health risks more dangerous. It’s a growing global problem —As the next generation of leaders, innovators and health advocates, young people have a vital role to play in tackling this global challenge.
This essay competition invites young people aged 15–25 years to share their perspectives on why AMR matters for their future and how their choices, voices, and actions can help make a difference.
