At Microsoft, we are committed to empowering the next generation of women leaders and change makers in Africa. Microsoft Leap, in partnership with the Africa Development Center, is hosting a week-long event for women in software engineering in Nigeria and Ghana.

Microsoft Empowering Women in Tech Benefits

In this hands-on workshop, our goal is to:

1. Deepen your technical knowledge
2. Sharpen your interview skills
3. Network and interact with Microsoft female software engineers and others

Requirements for Microsoft Empowering Women in Tech

1. University graduate (Any course applicable)
2. Must have 1-3 years of programming / SWE experience
3. Must have a functional laptop and excellent internet connection during the program
4. Must be available for 2-3 hours for the class every day for the week-long workshop
5. Must be a resident of Nigeria or Ghana
6. Event open to women only

Before applying for the Nigeria & Ghana Women's Day Event, please confirm that you:

1. Have a laptop or desktop computer with a stable internet connection *Required

2. Have graduated from a college or university (related field not necessary) *Required

3. Have at least one (1) year of applicable experience in addition to formal instruction *Required

4. Understand this is a female-only event *Required

5. Have answered all questions to the best of your knowledge *
