The Kwara State Government wishes to inform all indigenous students currently studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria, that applications for the 2025 Bursary and Scholarship Award are now officially open.
This exercise is being carried out at the directive of His Excellency, the Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, under the supervision of the Honourable Commissioner for Tertiary Education, Hajia Sa'adatu Modibbo Kawu.

Bursary allowances will be awarded to successful candidates.
Requirements for Kwara State Government Scholarship Bursary
Only final year students who are indigenes of Kwara State are eligible.
Applicant must be studying in tertiary institutions across Nigeria
Application Documents
- Passport photograph
- Local Government Citizenship Certificate
- Admission Letter
- Duly stamped final-year course registration form
- Institutional Valid ID Card
- Evidence of NAKSS due payment

Kwara State Government on scholarship.kwarastate.gov.ng to apply
To successfully apply for the 2025 Bursary and Scholarship Award, kindly follow the steps below:
- Log on to scholarship.kwarastate.gov.ng.
- Register your bio-data on the platform to obtain login details.
- Use your KWASRRA SSID (the 11-digit number on your Kwara State Resident Card) together with your NIN to fill the online application form.
- Scan and upload the following mandatory documents:
- Passport photograph
- Local Government Citizenship Certificate
- Admission Letter
- Duly stamped final-year course registration form
- Institutional Valid ID Card
- Evidence of NAKSS due payment
- Upload your KWASRRA Certificate and NAKSS Receipt as required.
- Ensure you also upload your valid NIN Slip.
