Holland Government 2023 Bachelors & Masters Scholarships for International Students
The Holland Scholarship is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s in the Netherlands. Are you ready for the chance of a lifetime? Apply for the Holland Scholarship!
This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science as well as several Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences.
The scholarship amounts to € 5,000. You will receive this in the first year of your studies. Please note that this is not a full-tuition scholarship.

About Holland Scholarship
The Holland Scholarship is the national scholarship programme for Dutch and international students.
The scholarship programme is first and foremost a means of profiling Dutch higher education. It is aimed at stimulating talented international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) to study in Holland.
In addition, the programme aims to increase the international mobility of Dutch students, by stimulating them to study outside the EEA on a scholarship.

Aim and Benefits of Holland Government Bachelors & Masters Scholarships
- The scholarship amounts to € 5,000. You will receive this in the first year of your studies.
Requirements for Holland Government Bachelors & Masters Scholarships Qualification
- Your nationality is non-EEA.
- You are applying for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
- You meet the specific requirements of the institution of your choice. You can find these on the website of the institution.
- You do not have a degree from an education institution in the Netherlands.

Interview date, Process and Venue for Holland Government Bachelors & Masters Scholarships
- The application round for academic year 2023-2024 will open on 1 November 2022.
- The deadline for application is either 1 February 2023 or 1 May 2023.
