The Federal Ministry of Education has launched an empowerment Program that is ensuring education workforce to live well and grow professionally. The Tertiary Institutions Staff Support Fund (TISSF) is a Federal Ministry of Education and Tetfund-funded program dedicated to enhancing the well-being, career development, and financial stability of tertiary institution academic and non-academic staff across Nigeria.

Through interest-free loans and targeted support programs, TISSF empowers staff in tertiary institutions nationwide. By reducing financial stress, enabling professional advancement, and improving living conditions, we are building stronger institutions, increasing staff retention, and ultimately improving student outcomes across Nigeria.

Requirements for Federal Government Tertiary Institutions Staff Support Fund (TISSF) Program

Only confirmed full-time academic or non-academic staff of eligible tertiary institutions who are members of all relevant staff associations, with at least 5 years to retirement.
