About Enugu State Scholarship Board
Enugu State Scholarship board was established in 2009 under the Sullivan administration with the objective, inter alia, of ensuring that many indigent but exceptionally brilliant students are given the opportunity to go to school.
Since the establishment of the board, not so many people knew about its existence until the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Honourable Ifeanyi Lawrence Ugwuanyi wherein the board became a household name through the award of various degrees of scholarships to Enugu indigenes to study both within and outside the country.

Requirements for Enugu State Government Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification
- Applicants must have at least credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, and four credits in subject related to the preferred course of study
- The applicant must have gained full time admission into tertiary Institution.
- The applicant must be a bonafide indigene of Enugu State through paternity.
- Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.5 and above for undergraduate
- Applicant must collect application voucher through the Board Office 28 Okpara Avenue, Enugu. or Call 07032284693, 09033661882, 09044022730, 09045085589, 09054915257, 07053900572 for Voucher collection
- Must write a computer based test organised by the Board.
- Must present the required documents listed

Interview date, Process and Venue for Enugu State Government Undergraduate Scholarship
- Successful applicants will be short listed for an aptitude test.
- Short listed candidates will write an aptitude test on the 26th of March, 2020. The venue of the test shall be communicated to short listed candidates
- The test shall be via written examination to be conducted by the examination development centre of the state
Documents Required for Application
- Your WAEC/NECO or equivalent result
- JAMB admin letter or its equivalent
- Certificate of LGA Origin
- School Identity Cards.
- Letters from king & Letter from Local Government.
- All other relevant documents.
