The eTrade for Women Advocates are successful and influential women entrepreneurs who are committed to tackling the gender gap.

The Advocates are appointed by the Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development. They act as a role models and help chart a new path for women digital entrepreneurs across the world. They share their vision and bring the voice of women to the front, to amplify their impact at the regional and global level.

Requirements for UNCTAD eTrade for Women Advocate Program

• A highly successful and influential woman entrepreneur
• The founder of an e-commerce or digital business
• Based in one of the following regions: South Asia, South-East Asia, Francophone Africa, Anglophone Africa
• Willing to inspire others and make a positive impact on your ecosystem
