This Master's Degree is offered jointly with the WIPO Academy, the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO), and Africa University (Mutare, Zimbabwe), with financial assistance from the Government of Japan.
All courses incorporate the theoretical and doctrinal foundations of the legal regime as well as the practical aspects of the particular areas of law.

Successful applicants for WIPO scholarships are notified by the WIPO Academy. Thereafter, they will be provided with relevant information, including travel arrangements.
To be considered, applicants shall:
hold a Bachelor's degree preferably in law, economics, engineering, medicine, physics, chemistry, communication sciences or business administration. An attendance of a minimum of three years of University in the above fields is required; and
advanced knowledge of English is a prerequisite (TOEFL 80/120 or IELTS 6.5/9).
