This year’s competition focuses on the theme “Creating Lasting Social Change: Strategies for Effective Socio-Philanthropic Interventions in Nigeria.”

Participants are encouraged to explore and suggest practical strategies that address critical social issues in Nigeria.

Requirements for Benedict Kudaya Sigma Essay Competition

To participate, students must meet the following requirements:

• Eligibility: Open to all students currently enrolled at the University of Ibadan.
• Essay Length: Essays should range from 1,200 to 1,500 words.
• Format Requirements: Submissions must be in PDF format, double-spaced, and use a 12-point font size.
• Submission Procedure: Send your essay to Sigma Competition Email ([email protected]). Attach a copy of your school ID with your submission.

Selection Process

Submission Period: August 16th – September 16th, 2024.
