The Asido Foundation established the annual JAME competition in her memory, for undergraduates of all tertiary Institutions in Nigeria (Universities, Polytechnics, Colleges of Education, Schools of Nursing etc).

• 1st Prize: N200, 000
• 2nd Prize: N150,000

Requirements for Asido Foundation JAME Essay Competition

• Applicants should be an undergraduate in any Nigerian tertiary institution 
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of studentship
• Applicants must sign the Asido Foundation's Unashamed pledge (asidofoundation.com/unashamed)

Selection Process

Essay Guidelines 

• The essay word count should range from a minimum of 750 and a maximum of 1000 words
• The essay should be in the Microsoft Word Doc format
• You are required to upload a scanned copy of a recent photograph, proof of studentship and a certificate of your unashamed pledge.
• Submitting an AI-generated essay and plagiarism in ANY FORM will lead to automatic disqualification
