Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) 2022-2023 Scholarship for Young Talents to Study in China

 Applications are invited from young and intelligent scholars for the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents to Study in China for the 2022/23 academic session. The scholarship’s goal is to support and train young scientists from all over the world.

ANSO aims to improve regional and global capacity in science and technology by providing scholarship opportunities to eligible candidates.

Benefits of ANSO Postgraduate Scholarship

Requirements for ANSO Postgraduate Scholarship

To be eligible for the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents to Study in China 2021:

  • Applicants must not hold Chinese citizenship
  • Applicant be proficient in English or Chinese
  • Applicants for the master’s program must have been born after 1 January 1991
  • Applicants for the PhD program must have been born after 1 January 1986
  • Applicants must meet the admission criteria for international students of USTC/UCAS
  • Not take up other assignments during the period of his/her scholarship
  • Applicants must be willing to abide by Chinese laws and USTC/UCAS regulations and rules

Note: 

  • If you are currently pursuing a master’s degree at any university/institution in China, you are NOT eligible for the master’s program of this scholarship. If you are currently pursuing a doctoral degree at any university/institution in China, you are NOT eligible for the PhD program of this scholarship. Otherwise, you will be disqualified from admission and the situation will be reported to your current university/institution.
  • You are NOT allowed to apply for the ANSO Scholarship in both USTC and UCAS simultaneously, otherwise you will be disqualified from admission.

Application Documents

  • Copy of International Passport
  • CV with brief introduction of research experience
  • Copies of all university certificates
  • Two reference letters
  • Detailed research proposal
  • Photocopies of title pages and abstracts of maximum 5 published academic papers
  • Proof of knowledge of English and/or Chinese
  • Foreigner Physical Examination Form

Application portal

File and submit your application in the USTC/UCAS admission system as requested before deadline. Choose “the ANSO Scholarship for Young Talents” in your application.
