Accountability Lab is inviting applications for its Accountability Lab Incubator Program for Young change-makers 2020. This is the Lab’s flagship program for young civil society leaders to build sustainable, effective tools for accountability, participation and social impact in their societies.
Selected ‘accountapreneurs’ will undergo an accelerated one-year program with hands-on, comprehensive support for their ideas and initiatives. The Incubator Program will provide mentorship, fundraising and management support, and access to a global network of leading institutions, foundations and donors. It also provides a non-prescriptive, supportive environment for creative, enterprising individuals who bring innovative ideas to inspire accountability in their communities.
To be eligible for the award the accountapreneurs must be a young change maker building sustainable, effective tools for accountability participation and open government in their society.
The Accountability Lab supports change-makers to develop and implement positive ideas for integrity in their communities, unleashing positive social and economic change. Their vision is a world in which people with power are accountable. It is a world in which resources are used wisely, decisions benefit everyone fairly, and people lead secure lives. Selected “accountapreneurs” receive one year of hands-on, comprehensive support including: training and knowledge-building, mentoring and management, network building, and media outreach support.
