Erasmus Mundus Journalism Scholarship is more than a master’s degree. It is a global experience that prepares you to become a resilient journalist, ready to face contemporary challenges while defending democracy, human rights, and justice worldwide. Mundus Journalism gives you the knowledge and skills to tackle journalism, media, and globalisation today. The curriculum combines academic and theoretical perspectives with hands-on journalistic training. You will learn to analyse and respond to global changes that intersect the lines between media, politics, technology, and culture.

Erasmus Mundus Journalism Scholarship Benefits
- Full tuition waiver for the duration of the programme.
- Monthly allowance of €1400 to support travel, visa, installation, and living costs.
- Allowance is granted for up to 24 months, starting from the first September of the 2-year programme.

Requirements for Erasmus Mundus Journalism Scholarship
- A 3 year bachelor's degree within a relevant field of study
- Documentation of English language proficiency (to be included in your application if you are not a native English speaker)
- At least 3 months of journalistic experience
Selection Process
To ensure that the strongest candidates are admitted, priority is given to academic merit. Candidates must demonstrate above-average academic performance in their undergraduate studies to be considered. The Committee conducts a holistic review of each application, assessing:
- Academic background and academic merit
- Quality of journalistic experience
- Quality and depth of the Application Reflections (without using AI)
- Potential to successfully complete the degree and contribute meaningfully to the global journalism field after graduation
