Established in 2012 at the University of British Columbia, the CAD $100,000 Allard Prize for International Integrity is made possible through the generous contributions of Mr. Peter A. Allard, Q.C. This prestigious award is conferred every two years upon an individual, movement, or
organization that has exhibited remarkable bravery and visionary leadership in the relentless pursuit of combating corruption or safeguarding human rights. Of particular significance is their dedication to advancing ideals of transparency, accountability, and adherence to the Rule of Law.
Having made its debut in 2012, the Allard Prize embarked on its journey towards autonomy from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, a transition that reached its culmination on June 21, 2019.
