The UKSAIPP Scholarship is provided by the UK Space Agency (UKSA) under its International Partnership Programme which is targeted at delivering sustainable, economic or societal benefits to developing economies in line with the UN sustainable development goals (SDGs).
Applications are now being accepted from self-funded postgraduate African students who are citizens of Kenya, Namibia, South Africa, Nigeria and other African countries with excellent academic qualifications to undertake the MSc Satellite Applications (with Data Science) postgraduate taught course.
The course is uniquely designed to address the global skills gap in satellite data utilisation by training students in satellite data acquisition, processing and interpretation using data science and also deliver entrepreneurship training that will enable students to generate their own business ideas and start-ups in the area of satellite applications for sustainable development.

Applicants to the MSc Satellite Applications (with Data Science) who are chosen for the scholarship will be contacted by the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.
